Rice is a great thing to have in the cupboard and by adding a few extra ingredients, it can become an awesome meal all on its own.

 

You will need to provide: 

  • 1 onion 

  • 200g basmati rice.

  • 50g tinned sweetcorn (Grab some frozen peas if you don't like sweetcorn) 

  • 50p

 

THEN, for Jambalya from the southern States of America you need to provide: 

  • 2 chicken breasts or 100g chorizo

  • 1 red pepper

  • 400g can plum tomatoes

 

OR, if you would prefer to make Paella from Spain you need to provide: 

  • 2 chicken breasts

  • 100g cooked prawns

  • 1 red pepper

  • 50g black olives

  • 1 lemon

 

Room 6 will be providing:

  • The herbs and spices
