Seasonal Mille-feuille

Although it might sound like a bit of a mouthful, the French words 'mille-feuille' literally translate to "thousand leaves", and lend themselves perfectly to this dessert which is made up of many small sheets of puff pastry, layered with cream and fruit.

 

There are lots of different skills to learn during this session so bring your game faces and a sense of urgency! 

 

 

You will need to provide:

  • 1 Packet Pre-rolled Puff Pastry (If it's frozen puff then take it out of the freezer the day before)

  • 4 Eggs

  • 100g Caster Sugar

  • 350ml Milk

  • 200g Seasonal Fruit (Could be strawberries, raspberries, peaches, pears, oranges, blueberries, the list goes on! If you're unsure about what is in season, pop to see me and I'll let you know)

  • 50p

 

 

Room 6 will be providing:

  • 25g Plain Flour

  • Vanilla Essence
