Fine dining, Room6 style 

 

 

 

Back in 2013 we executed a very special project, with a chosen brigade of 15 students being trained by chefs from Raymond Blanc's 2 Michelin star Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons.

 

Over the course of 6 weeks, the students participated in after school training sessions to hone their culinary skills and learn the dishes that they would eventually serve to paying guests.

 

The culmination of this training was a one-off pop-up restaurant where, under the guidance of the professional chefs, the students cooked and served a 3 course meal for 70 guests. The event was a complete success with all students benefitting hugely from experiencing a real working environment,with the opportunity to interact with industry professionals and understand the importance of real-time deadlines.
